@Hejor1 : what plant is it eating? I have never seen a larva of of Euproctis marginalis (as AFD calls Urocoma marginalis). It may indeed look like the larva of E. edwardsii. Please can you rear this one to an adult moth, then we can all become wiser ?
@Hejor1 : interesting. E. edwardsii feeds on mistletoe. Is there a mistletoe on the gum tree? If you find another larva: it would be wise to avoid handling it or its cast skins. The hairs cause urticaria.
