Photographic Competition Exhibition at the CSIRO Discover Centre

Twenty-three framed photographs of the competition winners and finalists are on display at the CSIRO Discover Centre from 22 May 2024 untill 27 June 2024. There is also a poster displays on what NatureMapr has achieved. Some of the photographs can be purchased.

The Discovery Centre is at the CSIRO Black Mountain site in Acton (off Science Road) and is open from 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, but not on the weekend.

Parking can be difficult. Proceed to the boom gate on Julius Road and say that you are visiting the Discovery Centre. A few places (and disabled parking) is available on Science Road but other than that parking may only be available on the southern and western edges of the CSIRO site. (You may have a 10 minute walk).

You can find all the winners and finalists here:

Launch at 1pm Wednesday 22 May 2024

The exhibition will be formally opened and prizes announced and awarded at 1pm Wednesday 22 May 2024. There is a café at the Discovery Centre. You can obtain coffee and lunch from the café so why not come early or stay later and take in the exhibition and meet some fellow Canberra NatureMaprs.

P.S. Some photos from the launch by Helen Cross:-

Thanks Jane, but the credit belongs to @MichaelMulvaney who did most of the work. I've added a couple of photos from the launch.
